I saw a man walk in front of me from my right to my left. He was wearing all black clothes and walked in an angry depressed manner. I heard the Lord speak to the man, “You are bleeding in back. Your life is in danger”. The man kept on walking past me and I heard the Lord repeat, “I said you’re bleeding in back. Your life is in danger”!  I looked at the back of the man’s shirt and could see that it was soaked red with blood. He must of had a thousand thin cuts from top to bottom. Everywhere the man went he left a scent trail of blood behind him and he wasn’t even aware of it. The man had heard the Lord’s words but didn’t believe he was bleeding in back. He thought the Lord was talking about someone else.

I saw following the man was a suicide demon. The demon had been tracking and attacking the man for years and was about to launch and all out attack this time. The man was going to die. I watched the suicide demon attack the man. He resisted the strong urge to end his pain by taking his own life. As the man resisted the demon would back away just for a moment, then attack again and again, feeding on the man’s pain. The man’s pain had built up over a life time and had got to the point that dying might seem like the only way to escape the torment.

He cried out to God to protect him from the awful torment but the battle raged on for days. I heard the man say to God that he trusted his life to God and even though he was in torment the Lord would surely rescue him.

On the third day of the attack the man bowed before the Lord and accepted his death. “Lord if I must die, I die to you and not this demon. I accept my death. If you slay me I will hope in You regardless, for I shall find new life in you. I trust my life to You”. The man sat still for some time weeping before the Lord.

Shortly afterwards the suicide demon came back and attacked him again, but this time the man stood up under an anointing from God and commanded the demon to depart from him and to go back to hell where he had come from. The suicide demon left immediately and for the first time all the man’s pain was gone. A life time of pain was supernaturally gone. Not just last week’s pain, last year’s pain, but an entire life time of pain, gone in an instant.  

Then I saw the man enter what appeared to be an old portico like structure, which you would see in the days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. The man’s face expressed joy and wonderment as he walked down the steps leading to a lower level.  A man wearing a hooded tunic, carrying a candelabra, stepped out in front and led the man further down the steps. The man in the tunic raised the candelabra up high in order to illuminate the path for the man so he wouldn’t misstep down the steps.  At the end of the was a beautiful pool. The man in the tunic walked over to a pool of water and motioned for the man to get in pool and wash. The man stripped his bloody clothes off and slowly walked down the steps into the pool of water.  Watching this reminded me of the blind that Jesus told to go wash in the pool of Siloam and the blind man came back seeing.

The man soaked his bloody back in the soothing water as it slowly washed away the blood as he waded deeper, submerging himself like in a baptism. Sometime later the man exited the pool. The man wearing the tunic dressed the freshly washed man in a cream white robe and led him back up the steps. At the top of the steps the man in the tunic vanished leaving the man to walk on his way.  The man smiled, raised his arms and praised God, thanking Him for a new lease on life for now his pain was gone. The pain of yesterday, last week, last month, last year and all his life, supernaturally lifted from his soul. Then the dream ended.

Meaning

The dictionary describes pain as physical suffering or distress, as due to injury, illness or mental, emotional suffering or torment. The word pain’s origin dates back to the time period of 1250–1300 A.D. Peine is and Middle English word for punishment or torture. The word for pain in Latin is poena as the Greek word poine means penalty.

The man in the dream had suffered many life events which had inflicted great pain deep into his soul. The man hid it as best he could but others could see it if they looked closer. The results of long standing, deep rooted pain, is spiritual bleeding. The man’s back was bleeding which suggest “past” pain in life that he still carried around with him. He could not see the spiritual results of his pain but Satan’s kingdom, in particular a suicide spirit, had been on the scent trail for years.

Sharks can smell a very small amount of blood in the water at a 1/3 mile away. Once a shark detects the scent of blood in the water it begins to track the source.  As the shark gets close to the blood source they get excited and begin plan their attack. In the same sense a suicide demon will track down the scent from a blooded wounded soul produced by a person with a great amount of unresolved pain to attack and destroy them in a moment of weakness and pain. The man in the dream was angry, despondent and alone.

In this dream the man was warned by the Lord that his life was in danger and even with that he barely escaped the powerful attack of this wicked spirit. I cannot over state the danger of unresolved pain issues in a person life. When teens who survived a suicide attempt are asked why they wanted to end their life the usual response is to end the “pain” of living. A suicide demon can linger at a specific geographical location just waiting to pick up on someone’s (bloody) pain trail as most demons will linger. They have to be run off.

A little over a year ago, my wife and I were walking side by side through the main road that went through this business when a semi-freight truck drove slowly past us just a few feet from where we walked. As I looked at the rear wheels as they rolled past. I heard a demonic voice say, “Throw yourself under the wheels”. As I pondered about what I had just heard my wife said, “You know what I just heard”? I said, “What”? She said, “Throw yourself under the wheels”. I now knew for sure there was a suicide demon hanging out on that property and it had to go. Later, I walked back to the spot where we had the encounter with the suicide spirit, prayed and commanded it to leave. Prior to that day there was a history of people who had worked at that facility which had committed suicide. A were in the distress of pain in their lives when they killed themselves.

Eckhart Tolle wrote in his book “A New Earth, “Accumulated pain is a negative energy field that occupies your body and mind. If you look on it as an invisible entity in its own right, you are getting quite close to the truth. It’s the emotional pain body. It has two modes of being: dormant and active. The pain body wants to survive, just like every other entity in existence, and it can only survive if it gets you to unconsciously identify with it. It can then rise up, take you over, “become you,” and live through you. It needs to get its “food” through you. It will feed on any experience that resonates with its own kind of energy, anything that creates further pain in whatever form: anger, destructiveness, hatred, grief, emotional drama, violence, and even illness.

So the pain body, when it has taken you over, will create a situation in your life that reflects back its own energy frequency for it to feed on. Pain can only feed on pain. Pain cannot feed on joy. It finds it quite indigestible. Once the pain body has taken you over, you want more pain. You become a victim or a perpetrator. You want to inflict pain, or you want to suffer pain, or both. There isn’t really much difference between the two. You are not conscious of this, of course, and will vehemently claim that you do not want pain. But look closely and you will that your thinking and behavior are designed to keep the pain going, for yourself and others.”

There is no escaping pain in this broken world which we were born into but we do have to recognize pain for what it is and what it isn’t. I’ve lost friends and acquaintances to pain that overcame their lives to the point they chose not to continue living. Being unconscious of pain in our lives and others and just ignoring it is a reciep for tragedy.

Have you found yourself forgiving and forgiving someone over and over again yet you still have anger towards them? Forgiving someone is by faith and as Christians we must do so. However, the pain and hurt of any situation will try to stay alive in our thoughts and memories. Pain wants to relive the situation in your thoughts as it rolls around in your mind over and over again feeding and feeding getting stronger and stronger.

Is pain an endless cycle in your life or someone close to you? Being aware of the fact that pain is there and dominating many of the decisions you make every day is the first step in becoming pain free. God works with each individual differently as the man in the dream where God miraculously delivered him from pain. I believe the first step to becoming pain free is the desire to be pain free. I have never seen God turn away a sincere cry for help from a desperate heart. God will make a way for you…start today on your journey to freedom.

Suicide is the outcome of neurobiological and psychological breakdown. Becoming suicidal is a process that begins in severe stress and pain generated by a serious life crisis.

Stress and pain increase as the crisis, or the perception of it, worsens. As this happens, control and self-esteem deteriorate. Depression may be a cause or a side effect of the process.

Suicidality occurs when the stress induces psychological pain so unbearable that death is seen as the only relief. Prior to this point the individual is at risk of becoming suicidal. Beyond it the individual is at risk of completing suicide. Becoming suicidal is a crisis that causes traumatic stress.

Ingrained beliefs and values may cause an individual to be stigmatized by their own suicidality. This leads to shame and guilt. These cause alienation from self and withdrawal from others, which are also drivers.

Suicidality entails changes in brain chemistry and physiology. Suicidal individuals manifest various chemical imbalances. Most notable is depleted serotonin, a neurotransmitter that inhibits self-harm. This is a neurological threshold and those near or beyond it must be treated with medications.

There is no choice. Suicidal individuals are beset by suffering that is distracting and disabling. Suicidality is a state of total pain which limits options to enduring or ending utter agony.

Recently in a dream I was removed from where I worked and taken on a journey to a location I did not know. A large truck-like vehicle was before me and I found a seat in the back of the vehicle as three other men joined me on the journey. Once we were all seated, the vehicle began to move along the path before us. I did not recognize the individual driving the vehicle, he just faced forward, never spoke or turned his head from the road ahead.  

I felt anxious because I didn’t know where I was being taken or what was going happen to me when I arrived. I didn’t have a hard hat or safety glasses and wondered if I would get reprimanded for arriving without them. The three men traveling along with me seemed to share the same anxiety that I was experiencing, we all sat in silence wondering, waiting…

The driver kept looking forward never speaking to us as he focused on the destination. Miles and miles went by and then the road began to narrow just like the bow of a ship comes to a point. The road was bordered with cut stones to guide the traveler to the center. My breath left me in excitement as I saw the very point where the two sides of the road came together in a point, the Pinnacle.

I jumped out of the vehicle and ran to the pinnacle (def. a pointed extremity), it was in a very high place overlooking the world. Suspended, directly in front of the pinnacle, was what appeared to be a reflection of Heaven framed in billowy white clouds. In awe of the beauty of this place, I slowly turned around surveying the splendor of the world below. I felt just like a mountain climber, who had successfully ascended the summit of Everest taking in the panoramic view for as long as I could; it was so beautiful to be in this place. In some ways I experienced the joy of what Peter felt when Jesus took the three disciple up on the mount of transfiguration.  “Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here.” Mat 17:4

The other three men joined me at the Pinnacle. They wrapped their arms together and wanted me to take their picture. I wanted to video this place but all I had was the cell phone camera. The anxiety we had experienced earlier on the journey had been replaced with exuberance and awe of the wonder of this place.  Then the dream ended as quickly as it had begun, I awoke so refreshed and my heart was filled with encouragement.

My reflections:

The philosopher Nietzsche wrote, “For happiness, how little suffices for happiness! No matter how my walk may appear to the casual observer or to the harshest critic, it is ultimately my journey to walk and not anyone else’s. There is nothing more important than walking in the joy of the Lord in a real, alive and vibrant relationship with the Master.

When we’re found of the Lord we enter into an exclusive relationship with the Master. It is extremely exclusive as two lovers engaged waiting for the wedding day. He sends us gifts, love letters and whispers in our ear from time to time as He jealously watches over us. No devil can snatch us away.

This is the point and purpose of life; to live before our God in open consciousness, looking, waiting for His words to us and yielding to His will. Submission is everything! It calms our minds and truly puts Him in charge of our lives. When we reach this place, we enter into the arena of His perfect will and perfect journey towards the center thereof. He will guide us along the journey which He has set before we were ever created.

Prior to the dream, I was in a place of gloom due to circumstances beyond my control. In the dream the Lord assured me that the things, which He has promised to me over the years, will come to pass. I believe He showed me this dream to encourage me because of the currently delay which I find myself in right now.  I have learned that not all delays are due my disobedience, failures or short comings. A believer may also experience spiritual delays due to their obedience. In some cases, God is working on others to get them in alignment to His will so He may use them to aid us in our journey.  If you’re experiencing this, pray God will show you the cause of your journey’s delay and if not do a lot of praying in the Spirit. When you find your journey in an extended delay don’t stop petitioning the Heavens until God announces to you that the delay is over. He will eventually!

During quiet time I was re-reading portions from the book by H. A. Baker “Visions of Heaven” where the children were caught up in the spirit to heaven and experienced the immeasurable joy and laughter while playing with angels. The kids rolling, laughing and playing with angels painted a picture so wonderful to me. I meditated on how the Bible speaks of angels in our midst and how the kids described seeing angels during the out pouring of the Holy Spirit. Right then, I asked the Lord to let me experience the same joy and laughter as the Abdullam orphans did, I asked the Lord to send an angel to me since He has myriads of them just sitting around waiting for an assignment; I have faith for that kind of prayer and in fact,  I’ve prayed it many times before ministering and have seen God deliver the answer ever time.

Later in the afternoon, after finishing a long walk in the park, I came into our home and sat down on the sofa with my dear wife. Suddenly, we heard the front glass storm door open and quickly close. We were sitting where we could look down the hall towards the front door and  both leaned forward looking in the direction of the sound we both heard and said together, “Did you hear that? It sounded like someone opened and closed the storm door.”

Immediately, my wife got up and walked to the front door and opened it looking to see if anyone was there or nearby. No one was to be seen nor was there a package left at the door by someone.

She returned back to the den where I was sitting and then I sensed the presence of an angel just to my right standing next to me.  As soon as I said, “I sense an angel here” I broke into a deep weeping, I mean I just melted and I couldn’t stop it. I wept for a short period of time and then the sobbng turned into laughter. I would begin to weep and end up with laughter and it continued for some time. I felt the joy of the Lord flooding into my soul bringing with it healing and a refreshing supernatural strength. This must be what the kids felt as described in the book “Vision of Heaven”. This was indeed a piece of heaven ministered to me by an angel of the Lord.

Then as soon as the angel came, the angel left, but somehow I will never be the same. I told my wife of my prayer to receive the same joy and laughter that the kids felt and that this was the Lord answering my prayer. She said, “He really loves you,” her words were so beautiful and timely. My Lord indeed loves me and when He manifests His love to me in such a personable way, I can’t help but fall in love with Him all the more.  After all it is about growing in relationship with the Father that matters more than any other thing on this earth.

Dream: Just To Be With Him

I was driving down the hi-way and was half-way between two small towns. I pulled my vehicle off to the side of the road onto the grass and got out. I walked to the rear of the vehicle and saw my cat (named Kitty) who is a dear family member.  She apparently had walked fifteen miles to get where I had stopped my vehicle. At first I didn’t like it that she had left her safe home until I realized how much she just wanted to be with me which was displayed by the great effort it took to come be with me. I picked her up in my arms and put her in the front passenger seat. She sat up tall and gleamed with joy because she was with me and I was very happy to be with her as well.

Then the scene in the dream changed and I was sitting in the front passenger seat of my natural father’s vehicle. I always loved being with him although he didn’t speak that much to me. I was just so happy to be with him as he steered the vehicle onto a side road to show me things he found interesting. I looked over at him as he rode with his elbow sticking out the window and he pointed out things he wanted to show me; I loved every minute of it. Somehow, I knew he enjoyed it as much as I did.

Meaning of dream:

The dream is about how our heavenly Father loves for us to come to be with Him.  As much as I was touched by the effort my cat made to be with me, so does our heavenly Father appreciate our effort to be with Him. The thrill I felt when I realized that my cat risked everything by coming so far to be with me melted my heart. She gave up her safety, comfort, resources and family to follow me; I was so touched. The Lord impressed upon me that this is how He feels when His children come just to be with Him in fellowship.  He loves us being with Him and looks for those who will come spend time with Him. Few will make the effort but those who do are greatly rewarded.  

Many times when I have been before the Lord I experienced the supernatural things of God which would not have happened if I hadn’t disciplined myself to spend intimate time with Him. Many people are seeking the supernatural of God but aren’t seeking Him for Him alone.

I can remember just sitting in the same room with my natural father just because I wanted to be with him. I wasn’t necessarily expecting anything from him each time but when he did open up and share mysteries of his life it made me want to know him all the more.

Our heavenly Father is much like that in regard to wanting us to be with Him and if He chooses to open up, you will want to keep coming back time and time again to be with Him, wanting to know Him all the more.

I promise you if you will make the effort to be with Him in a steadfast, faithful manner, He will reveal Himself at a time of His choosing. After all He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 

“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Heb 11:6

Jesus taught it is necessary to deny ourselves and follow Him which is key to knowing the things of God. He also declared that we will be known by our fruit.

“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.” “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”So then, you will know them by their fruits. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.”Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many  miracles?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ Mat 7:18-23

How do you get to know someone? You spend time with them as often as you can. You exchange thoughts and learn about one another. Over a period of time you build a relationship that truly is wonderful and unique. We hear how it is important to know God and most take that to mean read the Bible and learn about Him but that is only part of the equation. Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 7 verse 23 that he will declare to them, “I never knew you”.

I can read about the president of the country but that doesn’t mean I know him. I only know about him. However, if I spend time visiting with him, eventually I can say I know him and he knows me.

Relationship is the one thing that is threaded into God’s word from Genesis to Revelation. From the beginning of man in the Garden up to now God is looking for people who want to know Him in a true relationship. That is what it is about…RELATIONSHIP! When the Lord showed me Mat 7:18-23 some years ago and what He would do with those who use Him to self-promote their ministry I heard Him clearly say to me, “It’s about RELATIONSHIP”! I have kept true to that revelation ever since no matter what I’m going through I go through it in a pure relationship with my Lord.

I believe relationship is the one key thing that is missing in the messages preached today. Relationship is the true foundation of walking with God and being pleasing in His sight. In a few verses just after Jesus said, “I never knew you” He teaches about building your house on the rock so you can stand when the floods come and they will come. 

Relationship goes beyond just knowing the scriptures because He is the incarnate Word. Just knowing the Word won’t keep you from perishing in Hell but being known intimately of God will. If you read the book by Mary K. Baxter, “A Divine Revelation of Hell” you will never be the same person again. You will be amazed at the revelation which she brings from her journeys there and how many lost souls speak scriptures in the flames of their torment. You can search the Internet and find the book, audio or soft copy version. The Start of Audio version: Part 1 of 14.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.” Mat. 16:24

And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.” MK 8:34

And He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.” But He said to him, “Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.” Another also said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first permit me to say good-bye to those at home.” But Jesus said to him, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:59-62

Jesus spoke about the sower of the seed and how the devil would come to steal the Word of God from the heart. The rocky ground is where the roots of the seed couldn’t go down deep enough to survive the heat and dry climate and the thorns which grew up to choke out the plant representing the cares of the world.

We live in a busy world and have things on our plate but we must make time to be with the Father. It is the key vital part that is missing in most Christians walk. Many people try to substitute attending church as being with the Father but that isn’t the same. Is being in a public meeting with your spouse the same as being alone with them in an intimate setting?  Of course not and neither is your public display intimate time with the Father. It can be part of your walk but God never intended it to replace time alone with Him.

He wants us to come and desires it more than we know. Think about how you feel when your spouse, kids, dear friends or pets come to you just to be with you and how that makes you feel. Now imagine how the Father feels when you come to be with Him for no other reason than you just want to spend time together. Relationship is the true foundation of the believers walk and truly isn’t an option with God. Think about that statement for a second. If you want the things of God you have to be known of God and that requires a relationship with Him.

I hope you will make the necessary changes to your walk and make relationship with Him a priority. It will forever change you!

Journal Entry: Dream
Title: Meet With Me
Date: 9/20/2010

I was walking along a path and in my hands I had some technical documents, advertisement flyer and a device much like a smart phone. As I passed by some ladies I accidently hit a button on the device and it began to play music. They said, “Leave it here with us so we can listen to music!” I had already fumbled around on the device and somehow turned the music off.  No matter how hard I tried I could not turn it back on.

Then a nice you lady wearing a modest, brown dress came up to me and said, “I have something I want to talk to you about.” She walked into a building and went into a room and closed the door. I kept fumbling around with the smart phone at the same time trying to manage the other objects that were in my hands to the point I just couldn’t let the nice young lady wait any longer. I put the papers, flyer and smart device down and went into the room where the lady was waiting. I started to leave the door partly open to protect her reputation but it was so noisy outside I closed it and she nodded her approval.  She had on glasses and an old style hair-do. We looked eye to eye as she sat across from me. Then she said, “Three years ago I committed to going to a meeting one night a week and I have done so faithfully for three years.  Now I know Him, I know the things He likes and I see the things His does.  I know Him intimately. I’m not the same any more. It has transformed me in ways I can’t begin to explain. “

Then I saw the most beautiful cobalt blue orbs and spheres filled with secret knowledge of the things of God form in the space between the lady and myself.  These were secrets that He will only reveal to those who are intimate with Him. There are things which are to be revealed to us if we will come and meet with Him. That was made very clear to me.

The young lady shared some things she was shown about Christ that are beyond the ability of a human to know on our own. These things ‘stretched’ my thinking somewhat but were believable because the Spirit made it so.

She said, “Just commit to one meeting a week for three years and you will know Him and what He likes and what He likes to do.”

The dream ended.

The Dream Interpretation:

The young lady represents a messenger from Holy Spirit.  The brown dress represents warmth and caring, even pastoral duties. Holy Spirit is the one who will prepare the believers to become the bride of Christ. One of the ways this will happen is spending time meeting with Him once a week for three years with the door closed to protect the intimate time together.  It is important to block out the noise of the world during these meetings as well escape from our busy lives and allow time for Holy Spirit to minister to us.  We are constantly bombarded by media which wants to do one thing and that is to influence our lives. The things I saw in the open vision she put before me were like cobalt blue orbs that spiraled out and revealed wonderful amazing revelation of the secret things of God.  These secrets will hit our understanding for the first time and we will be taken back by the knowledge but know it was from God.  Paul wrote about being caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. 2 Corinthians 12:2-4

This isn’t mandatory but it is essential for the bride of Christ to make this choice. Do we want to let go of all the things that are so distracting in our lives and set aside one evening a week to meet with Him?

In the Jewish wedding tradition there is a preparation of the bride where she is given a ritual bath up to two days before the wedding, typically during the night. (… A day is a thousand years and a thousand year is as a day. 2 Peter 3:8

The place of bathing is called Mikvah and several biblical regulations specify that full immersion in water is required to regain ritual purity after ritually impure incidents have occurred. Most forms of impurity can be nullified through immersion in any natural collection of water. Some, such as a Zav, however require “living water,” such as springs or groundwater wells. Living water has the further advantage of being able to purify even while flowing as opposed to rainwater which must be stationary in order to purify. (Wikia)

Moses instructed the people to consecrate and wash themselves prior to meeting with the Lord. This is a type & shadow of what the Lord is showing us to do now which is to consecrate our lives and meet with Him and be washed in the living water prior to meeting with Him upon His return.

“The LORD also said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments; and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.” Ex. 19:10-11

The Lord knows those that are His, He isn’t coming back for a harlot nor will He join himself to a bride that doesn’t know or hasn’t shown any interest in knowing Him. Read Preparation of the Bride Pt. 1

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.” 2 Tim. 2:19

Would you marry someone who you didn’t know and who really wasn’t interested in spending time with you? Or if each time you wanted to be with them they had something much more important to do or they want to be with someone else? Would you marry that kind of person? Of course not and Christ will not either.

Just after quiet time the same morning the Lord put in my spirit the chorus to a song by an 80′s band Tears For Fears as I began singing the words…

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Eph. 5:25-27

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” Rev. 19:7

Will you commit to one evening a week for three years to meet with Jesus Christ privately and in sincerity to get to know Him and be washed in the living water of the Lord? His promise to us is that you will be rewarded with a beautiful life changing relationship in which He will show you all about Him and you will truly enter into a relationship with the living God.

I pray you will pass this along to as many as you know who love God and who sense His return but don’t know what to do to prepare. The bride must make herself ready! Come to the living water and be cleansed.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Heb. 11:6

I was walking down a path that went through a small quaint town; my brother was walking beside me on my left side. We passed a general store and a man came out with a six pack of beer cradled under his left arm and one beer in his right hand. He looked at me and said, “Do you want one?” I shook my head to say no and we kept on walking.  I asked my brother if he knew about the man who lived in the house just to our right who had been recently widowed. He responded, “No.” I said, “But you live here and this is a small town and you know everyone, how could you not know how he is hurting?” I knew by the Spirit the depths of the man’s pain and how he was hiding it from everyone trying to appear strong. I began to feel such sadness in my soul as I began to sob. I didn’t want my brother to see my sorrow but my sobbing went to depths I hadn’t felt in a long time and I couldn’t hide it any longer. I wept bitterly as I squinted through the tears just to see the road under my feet. However, as deep as my sorrow was my brother was clueless to the pain in my soul or anyone else’s. We kept walking on.

Notes: I wasn’t dreaming about my soul weeping. Somehow, I knew that my soul had actually been weeping although I experienced no physical tears when I woke up, the tears were spiritual tears. They were extremely deep felt tears that washed away the weariness in my soul. I could tell things were different afterwards, much different. I had been praying for months for the Lord to heal my soul; to bring healing and restoration and at the appointed time He did. I’m not saying He’s finished restoring my soul but He sure has begun the healing process and all I had to do was lie beside the quiet waters and wait.

The dream is about the weary and wounded souls that are in us and all around us. We don’t see them because we hide our pain from others. Often we don’t even recognize that our own soul is weary. We just feel like we have to be strong and press on and hope things will improve. After all people are depending on us for so many things and there lies the problem.

I see the body of Christ as a hurting, tired, weary army which refuses to admit they are exhausted from busyness, rejection and the effects of sin. As an army of God we’re not ready to face the trials and struggles of the days ahead. We have been overworked by religion, duties and responsibilities and the expectations of others in our personal lives. There is a Japanese word Karoshi which means, “Death from overwork.” Overwork kills thousands upon thousands every year. Many people choose to be busy so they don’t have to face the vanity of their life. Some keep noise going afraid of what they may hear in the quiet. The “quiet” can be very discomforting to someone who’s not used to it. Busyness becomes an identity of self-worth to many by establishing a sense of importance. However, busyness eventually wears us down by neglecting our soul the rest it requires to prosper in life.

Jesus addressed the people with “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my load is light.”

Weariness Comes From

Biblically weariness and unrest come from sin and disobedience or from the sins of others perpetrated against us. Adding to the causes of weariness are sorrow and grief, conflicts in relationships, daily responsibilities, busyness and physical fatigue.

And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these [which are] of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me? Gen. 27:46

My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. Job 10:1

So what will heal the wounded souls of the masses? Will it be three points and a poem sermon? Will more Bible studies bring the healing? Will more commitment to the church or perfect attendance bring us comfort? Many times people are made to feel obligated to attend church every time the door is open. If you’re serving in some duty each time you are in church then it will eventually lead to burn-out if no relief is made available.

I once worked for a boss who had me on an important project; the project I was working on was so he could look good to his superiors. I worked seven days a week for seven weeks traveling all across the country without a day off. I found myself mentally losing it, I called him one day before coming to work and requested some time off.

More than once, I’ve been is engaged in a long term battle during my Christian walk and I expect you have as well. Often in ministry God will send you to places you don’t want to go and ask you to do things you don’t want to do with people you don’t want to be associated.

This kind of service and faithfulness wears on the soul no matter how great a saint you may be because of the constant spiritual resistance you face in these assignments. The adversary will oppose you every step of the way by using people whom he has influenced.

How do we recover from weariness?

And He said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while.” (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.) They went away in the boat to a secluded place by themselves. Mark 6:31-32

In the verses below Paul has been very active in his assignment and was in need of rest. The books of the New Testament are filled with the trials and perils Paul endured.

“Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: for I am with you, and no man will attack you in order to harm you, for I have many people in this city.” And he settled there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.” Acts 18:9-11

Why did He do this?

We think believers shouldn’t get weary or depressed so we just hide it and certainly don’t let anyone know it, especially the ones closest to us. We certainly don’t want our fellow believers to see us weary for they may think we’re weak and not standing in the Word and all its promises. However, ministry, life situations and responsibilities will drain the life right out of us, it’s common to us all.

Jesus knew what he was talking about when he told his disciples to come away with him. The news that Jesus’ cousin, John the Baptist, had been murdered had been delivered to the men. They needed to “go offline” for a while and be restored by getting some REST!

What is the cure?

The one sure cure for the weary soul is to rest beside the quiet waters with the Lord. Recognizing that you are weary is the first step in your recovery. Prayer and asking the Father to restore your soul is vital. He will wash your soul with your own tears as He rehabs you back to life once again. The Hebrew word for restore is “shuwb” and it means “to return, turn back”. We need to allow Him to lead us to the quiet waters. Spend as much time with Him as you can without making it legalistic, you can’t rest if you’re working to get to rest.  It means you learn to simply be still, wait upon the Lord, to listen and to rest.

“So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His . Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.” Heb 4:9-11

Life is filled at times with moments of great joy as well as great sadness; if you’re human you will get weary at some point in your life. The successes of our past or the miracles we’ve seen don’t help us escape weariness of the soul in the present situations. We must allow God to bring this to pass for He is the Healer of our souls as well as our bodies.

As believers we should be able to bring comfort to the weary, I love this verse and have prayed it before going to sleep many times.

“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.” Is. 50:4

You can’t rush God on how and when He restores your soul but He will in His timing and however He chooses to do so. He wants His people to be whole and healthy. “Beloved, I pray that in all respects, you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalm 23:1-6

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. Is. 40:31

I heard in the Spirit a quick burst of rapid yet light knocking on the front door waking me up this morning at 4:49 am. I have experienced this numerous times over the course of the past seven years in the home we currently reside. I listened in the natural to make sure no one was actually knocking on the door and there was no one there. I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.  

Later I saw in the Spirit the man Dumitru Duduman; As I stood in a long hallway or tunnel, He came walking up to me. The tunnel was filled with very soft, white morning light. When Dumitru got closer to me, I recognized him as a much younger man than the pictures I’ve seen later during his life. (Dumitru passed away May 5, 1997) Again, I  was awake asking the Lord to show me what this is about, I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.  

Sometime afterwards, I heard in the Spirit a loud, “Ga-gong”, which awakened me. Now, the morning light was actually coming in the windows signaling the beginning of a new day but all that was on my mind was to seek the Lord to find out what was this about.

During my morning quiet time, while praying for Lord to reveal the meaning of these three events, I was led to a book I refer to at times, “The Comprehensive Hebrew Calendar” by Arthur Spier. What I discovered is that today is a new moon and the beginning of the month of Elul. Elul is the last month of the year (5770) in the Hebrew calendar and is the agriculture month of processing grapes, figs and olives in the agricultural cycle. 

Elul (very brief explanation)

Elul in Jewish understanding is the key to unlocking the inner and most potent meaning of the heart. Elul is made up of the Hebrew letters aleph, lamed, vav and lamed are an acronym for the phrase from the Songs of Songs: Ani L’dodi V’dodi Li, which means, “I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me.” 

This phrase symbolizes the bride and groom, husband and wife or our personal life with Christ. In the Zophar (Jewish commentaries) Elul we are “back to back” in relationship with God and by the end of Elul we are “face to face” with God. It’s a month of a complete turning around of our lives back to God if we choose to do so. 

This doesn’t mean that in Elul God is more easily reached because He is there always. Beautifully, Elul is about letting go of hurt, anger, unresolved arguments, disappointment, abandonment or whatever root of pain we may have and return to God with all sincerity. Elul is a time for breaking out of boundaries by turning our soul back to an inner intimate walk with God.  

What does seeing a vision of a younger Dumitru Duduman mean?  

In Dumitru’s first recorded spiritual encounter in America, he clearly states he was wide awake when it was given to him in 1984. It is titled “America Will Burn” and it is the first of many he received until his passing May 5, 1997. 

An angel showed up and transported him to California, Las Vegas, the state of New York and all of Florida and then said, “This is Sodom and Gomorrah! In one day it will burn.” The angel took him back home and said, “All of this I have shown you – In one day it will burn.” 

I strongly believe the Lord showed me a much younger Dumitru to point me to his first spiritual encounter in America where he was given a revelatory experience to warn America what is coming if it does not repent and turn back to God. The Lord wants to warn this nation and the church yet again. 

The Lord of Lords is calling out to His people to return to Him and become His bride. The only way to escape the judgments coming upon this nation and world is to fully abide in Christ. He will protect His bride. Those who live a holy life will be saved, only those whose names are written in the Book of Life will be saved. The mountain is Christ and by Him you are saved, stand on the mountain above the judgments which are to come.

As I looked to my immediate right I saw a muscled-up Olympian athlete running beside me mimicking my every motion. He was the most ripped up, powerful athlete I had ever seen. His right arm was raised as he paced his steps carrying a spear just like mine. As I released my spear, the Olympian released the spear he was carrying with a mighty thrust.

 However, I saw one spear going out from me headed into total darkness and heard a powerful metallic sound “whing-ching,” as the spear divided into hundreds of spears with such force. The spears hurriedly flew off into the darkness of the vision.  I said, “No one could resist such a weapon!” The vision ended.

 A day later my wife was sitting in her office on a Sunday afternoon and calmly said to me, “I believe you’re to start a blog.” I knew her anointing, I knew her walk with God and I trust her explicitly in these matters. (She’s able to recommend a book for someone, and the reader will know she’s heard God in the matter. She’s done it for me many times over the years.) So, when she said this about me creating a blog I began immediately to seek God as to what the blog should be about. I sensed I was to write about the supernatural side of God, which so many want to know more about and so little is truly written on it. So that is how “Walking In The Supernatural” came into being.

A year later I still didn’t know the meaning of the vision. I thought of it often and kept seeking God for the meaning but had no understanding. I am confident if I ask God for understanding about a matter, He will answer me at some point in time and He will tell me what He wants me to know. He does this because He wants us to know His secrets, He shares secrets with His friends but not His servants (slaves).  

 ”No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15

“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jer. 33:3

About a year after this vision, while writing a blog, God revealed to me the meaning of the vision with the spear. The vision of the spear represents this blog; it was God’s certification for me to write the blog. He knows I don’t want to do things just for the sake of doing them, I want God to show me what He wants me to do and then do it with all my heart.

For the blog, God gives me dreams, visions, prophecy, revelation or I pull from my journal and events from my past which I feel inspired to write about. When I publish an article it goes into all the Earth. Each blog is read by hundreds of people, which is represented by the spear (whing-chinging) multiplying into hundreds of spears. Today, Walking In The Supernatural is read by people in all nations around the world, God is faithful and yes God is Supernatural!

A few years ago my wife and I arrived in Galveston to set sail for a fabulous week on a western Caribbean cruise. My wife owns a cruise travel business so we have cruised and inspected these beautiful ships many times. One thing that is apparent from the concept, design and implementation of a cruise ship is that its sole purpose is for fun, for relaxation and for adventure. These are some of the reasons people sail on-board them by the millions each year.

However, on one particular voyage, things didn’t go exactly as planned. We arrived in Galveston around noon on embarkation day only to find that the ship we were to be boarding shortly wasn’t back in port. What could possibly keep one of these mega-machines from being on time? The weather was perfect and the skies were clear with no strong winds blowing.

 We began to hear rumors that the night before the ships’ return, someone had jumped over board and the ship had spent about four hours in a search and rescue effort trying to recover the individual. All efforts to find them failed and the ship finally returned to port.

We were upset at first for the inconvenience of the delay since it causes such chaos to the already hectic process of getting everyone off the ship with their luggage, clearing out the parking lots so the arriving guest can be accommodated with out delay.  Eventually, late that evening we set sail in the dark of the evening and we are now on our adventure.

The next day was a full day at sea.  As my wife and I were walking the Lido deck of the ship, I couldn’t help but think about the young man who had jumped off the ship committing suicide the night before. I told my wife, “This ship was made for fun and the company that owns the cruse ship calls their fleet ‘The Fun Ships.’”

 What had happened was wrong! James 1:17 says, “Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.” This cruise ship’s concept, design and sole purpose was a good thing bestowed by God through mankind! The inspiration behind it was for pleasure and fun.

The more I thought about this senseless death and the purpose of this beautiful ship, the angrier I became at the devils evil in the Earth. Something had to be done and I was going to do it. I told my wife what was troubling me and that we were going to declare what God’s purpose was for the ship and drive the evil spirit of suicide from the ship.

 We began to walk the deck speaking against the spirit of suicide commanding it to leave the ship and stated that it can’t return. We spent some time at this and then went about our cruise fun. A little bit later, I told my wife, “We’re not finished, we have to go back up on the Lido deck and speak against the spirit of suicide again.”

Once again we walked on deck quietly declaring what this ship was created for and that suicide had no place here and had to go. After some time in prayer I felt a release and that we had accomplished what we as Christians are to do.

That same night the Lord gave me a dream. In the dream I saw my wife and I walking the deck of the ship praying and speaking against the spirit of suicide. As we stood on deck near an air vent pipe, which rose above the deck about two feet, a snake as large as any anaconda on Earth came up out of the air vent and wrapped around my legs in a hideous effort to intimidate and to stay on board. In the dream, I told it to get off the ship and leave now! The snake unwrapped from my legs and darted back down the air vent pipe disappearing from sight. We continued to stand there and pray commanding it to leave. Suddenly the snake burst forth from the pipe and slithered over to the side of the ship and disappeared for good. We had won the battle and rejoiced greatly.

When we awoke the next morning, I told my wife about the dream and how it revealed that the first time we went on deck and prayed the spirit of suicide didn’t leave the ship but only went in hiding. However, when Holy Spirit unctioned us to go back and pray again then the spirit of suicide left the ship.

We rejoiced and to this day no one has committed suicide from that particular ship albeit they have from other ships in the cruise industry. How many lives have been spared due to this righteous act of faith and obedience to the Lord?

Dear saints of God, we must recognize and engage the forces of evil with our faith. Just take the time to look at any situation and see if there is a problem and if it is contrary to the plan and purposes of God. If so, declare what God’s Word says about it and release His will into the situation.

In the book of Acts, chapter 26:18, Paul tells of the commission he received from the Lord Jesus, which is to “open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.”

As Christians we are to be impacting the world around us, where we live, where we work and yes, even where we travel. God has used me often to directly confront evil forces face-to-face and drive evil influences from the work place, from our neighborhood, the city where I reside and from where I travel, for we have been given dominion in this Earth over evil.

I want to inject that in no way are the cruise lines at fault when someone listens to the evil seducing voice of suicide and jumps overboard. If there is any fault it would be on us…the Christians, who lack knowledge of spiritual matters and allow such evil in our presence. We must recognize that we are a royal priesthood and our commission from Christ is to become agents of change in our time while on the Earth.  In 1 Peter 2:9 Christians are a royal priesthood proclaiming the excellencies of Jesus to the world. 

In conclusion it is vitally important to recognize the original purpose bestowed by the intent and gifts of God for all the things that surround our lives to see if each one of them is functioning according to His purpose. If not, we are to speak God’s word to the problem until we see the matter align back to God’s purpose. This includes our homes, our neighborhoods, our workplaces, our schools, our courts, our governments and the nations.

We’re not to be railing against powers, rulers and authorities in the heavens and calling them down. That doesn’t scare or intimidate them in any way. What evil is most afraid of is the saint who grows in the glory of the Lord and the manifold wisdom of God demonstrating to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places the power and authority of each Christian to bring the light into darkness exposing the evil of the devil’s kingdom. That is the church’s assignment and purpose according to Eph 3: 10 “so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly {places.}”

Be dynamic in your faith and become and agent of change!!!

1 Thes. 5:5  for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;

1 Pet. 2:9 “But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR {God’s} OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 

I have noticed that God gives us seasons where He leads us into studying His Word. During this season, we seem to have a greater desire to read the Word more than at other times. The Word seems to be more alive to us and the mysteries of God seem to jump off the page. Holy Spirit is illuminating new revelation to us as our faith is being built up in the truths of God.

These Word seasons last for however long God has determined and then we begin to notice a transition in our walk. Often the change is first noticed during our prayer and Bible study time.

During “dry” times, the scripture doesn’t seem to be flowing off the page as it was before and can seem difficult to get anything out of the Word at all; the Teacher is silent during the test. God’s silence is a good indicator that the waves now crashing a shore have changed from the Word season of growth and learning waves to spiritual waves and a season of trial and testing.

Holy Spirit shifts our lives into spiritual seasons so we can walk out what He has been teaching us in the Word. Perhaps you’ve heard the saying, “A man with an experience is not at the mercy of a man with an argument.” A spiritual season is to give us experiential knowledge of God’s Word and the applied knowledge truly gives us true understanding of God. Our faith isn’t faith at all until it has been tested under fire. The military knows that a battle hardened soldier is much more effective than a soldier in basic training because they’ve been in battle after battle and have endured because of the training they have received.

Jesus taught and demonstrated the Kingdom to His disciples before He commissioned them to go out and demonstrate it. Jesus repeated the process of Word seasons and spiritual wave seasons time and time again.

 In Luke 8:1, Jesus is going from one village to another proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God with the twelve disciples following Him. In verse 10, the disciples are told that it has been granted for them to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God meaning that they would begin to understand the Word of God and the Spirit of God and how it must work together to demonstrate the Kingdom of God.  And in Luke 9:1, the disciples are commissioned with the power and authority of Jesus to go out with demonstration and proclaim the kingdom of God. So you see, the disciples had to go and get experiential knowledge for themselves.

These Word seasons are to build us up in our faith so we can stand strong during the spiritual seasons. Years ago during the night I heard the Father say to me, “For I know the plans that I have for you, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah. 29:11). Then He said, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Num. 23:19)

The Lord repeated Jeremiah 29:11 and Numbers 23:19 all night long in this order. Twice in the night I got up out of bed, once to adjust the thermostat and once to go the bathroom and immediately afterwards, I went back to bed only to hear Him repeat the verses over and over again. This continued all night long, even as I was beginning to wake up and dozing in and out of sleep, I would hear Him cycle through these verses over and over again. The verses were waves and waves of the Word that came to me all night in order to build my faith for the spiritual season which lay ahead.

 Shortly after this wonderful night of soaking in the waves of God’s Word, I entered into the hardest and darkest spiritual battle of my Christian walk. As it got closer I could see it coming yet I couldn’t do anything to get out of the way…the spiritual season was upon me and what a spiritual test it would be!

The company where I was working was bought out by another company in a merger that placed me under new management with the new owners. I could discern evil coming, but I couldn’t put a name on it, I just knew the spiritual atmosphere had changed and it had changed for the worse. I pressed into God like never before sensing the danger which was coming upon my life and I too wanted this cup to pass from me.

I wasn’t alone in sensing the danger of the hour as other Christian co-workers agreed that there was an evil and demonic presence in our building which was thick, heavy and intimidating. I knew God had assigned me in the work place ministry and that I couldn’t be fired, layed-off or quit until He released me from my assignment no matter what was going to happen to me.  

 Months passed as the new management transferred me out of my position into another location farther away, making my daily commute two hours round trip thus removing me from where God has placed me to minister. Instead of complaining, I just used that extra commute time to listen to preaching tapes and to meditate on the Word. My pastor at the time, had no information of my work conditions but when he would pass me in the fellowship meetings he would say, “When you come out of this you will be promoted and much stronger.”

The spiritual attacks got worse but I kept pressing into prayer, studying and petitioning God to teach me what He wanted me to learn through this experience. We’re ultimately tested in order to learn that God is able to bring us through anything the enemy can throw at us if we won’t give up, give in and quit.

On Sunday, July 7, 2002, Holy Spirit gave me a verse, “His left hand [is] under my head, and His right hand doth embrace me.” (Songs 2:6) This was my rhema word, I read it over and over and meditated on it all week long.

I knew in the Spirit that evil darkness in the earth and the demonic kingdom was trying everything in its power to take my life this week. On Thursday, July 11th while driving back from lunch, an out of control driver raced out of a parking lot headed right at the driver’s side door of my vehicle. There just happened to be a side street where I was able to take evasive actions and I wasn’t even hit. It was so miraculous, that I couldn’t even get mad at the kamikaze driver that was used as a pawn by the devil’s kingdom.

That same night, I walked out the front door of my house and was praying to God and said, “I present my body to You as a living sacrifice and I trust You with my life, use my body for Your glory.” 

The very next day, I was riding my motorcycle home after work, a car came rushing out of a side street right in front of me. The driver stopped in front of me as my motorcycle sped toward certain collision at over forty-five miles per hour. I had always heard everything slows down when in a death situation like this and it’s true. It just appears to slow down when in fact the human mind races with thoughts and the adrenal gland kicks in and pumps like crazy.

The first thought that came to me was that this wasn’t God’s plan for my life because He had told me all night long that He didn’t bring calamity into my life and that He would give me a future and a hope. It didn’t take a “rocket scientist” to figure out a speeding motorcycle about to T-bone a car isn’t God’s plan for me. I said, “This isn’t God’s plan for me and I shall live and not die, I’m going over this car Lord!”

As I pressed hard on the front and rear brake levers, my speed didn’t slow down due to the short closing distance to the vehicle. Then “bam” I heard a loud crash as the front wheel of my motorcycle impacted the vehicle and I was airborne flying high over the car in the center lane. I wasn’t wearing a helmet and I was thought I wished I had it on for the impending impact to come. I said, “Lord if I hit my head I’m dead.” All I could see was the concrete road and thinking how much this was going to hurt.

Suddenly, I noticed that my forward direction traveling down the center lane was being changed. Some external force was moving me from the center lane over to the left lane even though I couldn’t feel anything touching me. I landed on my right shoulder and head in the middle of the far left lane. I tumbled over and over as I could hear the impact of my head on the concrete. Amazingly, I didn’t feel any pain as I thumped along the concrete. Truly His left hand [is] under my head and His right hand doth embrace me.

After I stopped tumbling, I lay there a few seconds completing my injury inventory. I was awaiting the message of “horrendous pain” to be sent through my body notifying every member that we’re hurt really bad, but it didn’t come.

I got up to my knees and saw the people in the passing cars starring at me. In every direction people were just as though they had been frozen where they stopped their vehicles. They didn’t know if they had just seen a person die or at best seriously injured. All but two stayed in their cars and watched as a few came rushing to my aid.

 One man ran up to me and said he used to be a paramedic and he instructed me to stay down but I just couldn’t let the enemy have a moment of satisfaction in this. What the enemy had meant for my harm had failed and he needed to see me stand up, and stand up I did! Right in the middle of the devil’s snare, I rose in victory. In some ways this was no different from Daniel in the lion’s den, he was kept safe in the midst of death and so was I.

Right beside me in the middle lane next to where I had landed was my motorcycle, all 800 pounds of it. It had obviously flipped end over end after colliding with the car and had been in the air flying right behind me. If an angel of the Lord hadn’t moved me out of the way, I would have been crushed to death by that motorcycle.

I walked away from the accident with a quarter sized road rash on my left elbow, a slightly separated right clavicle and a pulled groin muscle, that was it.  The groin injury was miraculously healed the following Monday night when a minister called out a word knowledge saying that someone had a groin injury.  When I heard him say that word out loud I said, “That for me!” I immediately felt the power of God heal my groin injury.

The traffic officer who investigated the accident asked me three times what had happened, I’d tell him and each time he would respond with, “You shouldn’t be alive! You need to go home and thank God you’re still alive!”  He went on to say that he had been investigating traffic accidents for many years and he had been in a motorcycle wreck himself and he knew this is a miracle.

 The following Saturday morning, while in prayer, the Lord said in an audible voice, “It’s the spirit of Jezebel!” Now I knew what had been the driving force behind all the evil at work and the cause of the attacks on my life for the Jezebel spirit opposes the prophet as it did with Elijah. The light had come and shined in on the darkness to reveal it and how bright the light was, I knew I had the victory!

 Early one morning, before anyone was at work, I went to the office of the person the Jezebel spirit was operating through, and I bound the spirit from manifesting in their lives at work. Always remember that our battle isn’t with flesh and blood (people) but against rulers, against powers, against the world forces of darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph. 6:12)  We are still required to pray for those who oppose us and love them regardless of what they are saying or doing to us at the time.

The individual the spirit of Jezebel was operating through, was on vacation at this time and didn’t return until the next day. When I saw them, they were refreshed, happy and free and they thought it was all due to being on vacation – but I knew different.

God had built me up in the Word by sending wave after wave of His wonderful Word to sustain me in the coming spiritual battle of my life and He will do the same for you. When you have done all to stand…stand!
