I was thinking of his hardy laugh and unforgettable smile. I remember the day he came to Durham from only half a days work at he Brownwood plant. It was only a month and a half before he went to Heaven. He called and asked Jas and I to come over also. It was a Friday. As we sat with him he didn't say much. I believe now he was realizing that life as he knew it was going to change very quickly. As the hour went by I had to leave to go pick up my children from school. When I got up to leave Brad broke his silence and stood up and embraced me. He put his mouth to my ear and spoke very quietly. I remember looking over his shoulder at Wendy. He had been used by the Lord so drastically in the miraculous healing of my Mother only a few short months before. He spoke to me of that encounter and knew that his faith was productive. He said , "Even now I know God hears my voice and honors His Word." He hugged me so tight. I will never forget that moment. I will forever remain his "Sis". lol....I miss you Brad. See ya soon.
